A lot of attention is paid to upbringing of grouring generation in our republic for supporting young talented. At present a number of creative activities are carried out. With the aim of developing intellectual potential among the youth of our Republic different educational grants are held.

In 1999, 10th June the decree about the state award “Zulfia” on the supporting the young creators and the talented of republic was published by the president of Republic of Uzbekistan. This award for the youth of republic young talented girls is the symbol of faith leading the nice future given by the President of our republic.

For 10 years girls of our republic have been receiving this award. For 10 years the number of awarded reached 140. Among them 10 girls from Karakalpakstan were admitted worthy this prize. The state prize “Zulfia” became a means of realizing creative ideas among the girls of our republic. According to the decree awards are given to the winner in the branch of literature science, art and culture, girls of the aged group from 14 to 22 years old.

These results prove that the interest and strive to get this prize are growing together with distinctively – organized process of holding this award.
